Eligibility & Commitment

To be considered for a position on the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements and be willing to commit to the responsibilities and expectations outlined below:

I am currently a Bracebridge Chamber member or I understand I must become a Chamber member if appointed to the Board.

I understand Board members serve a two-year term and am able to commit to serving for the full term.

I am able to attend monthly in-person Board meetings.

I am able to attend the Chamber's signature events and monthly networking events throughout the year.

I understand Board members are expected to engage with Chamber emails and communications on a regular basis.

I understand Board members are expected to actively engage with and support the local business community.

I understand Board members are expected to help recruit at least three new Chamber member businesses each year.

I confirm that I do not currently hold elected municipal, regional, provincial, or federal public office, and I am not currently seeking election to any of these offices.

I have read and understand the eligibility requirements and commitments outlined above and confirm that I am able to fulfill them.
